Prof. Panda, M.Phil and PhD (Education) and Certificate in ETV (BBC, UK), has had a long and illustrious career in Distance Education. Apart from serving as the Professor of Distance Education at Staff Training and Research Institute of Distance Education, IGNOU, he is also the former Chairman of NCTE and the present Coordinator of IGNOU'S International Master of Arts in Distance Education Programme, which is offered in 20 countries. Prof. Panda is also the Coordinator of the first National M.Ed Programme sponsored by the Statutory Distance Education Council For Teacher Education, Government of India.

Professor CRK Murthy, MA (Social Anthropology), PhD (Education) has been serving the Staff Training and Research Institute of Distance Education, IGNOU since 2006 as Professor of Distance Education. Prof. Murthy's Core Area of Expertise involves Training of Teachers in the area of ODL. He has planned, designed and Conducted hundreds of Workshops and Training Programmes across the globe in Development of Self Learning Materials and various other aspects of Distance Education.
